Dubai’s landscape is about to change again. The city of the United Arab Emirates, famous for the iconic Burj Khalifa, is preparing to add a new wonder: Tiger Sky Tower. This residential skyscraper, valued at a billion dollars, wants to take luxury architecture to another level. It will be finished by 2029 and would reach 532 meters high. This project will become the tallest residencial building in the world and will brake new world records in design, height and lifestyle.

This tower will be a vertical city by itself, with a place where people sleep, swim, exercise, relax, meet friends and look at the skyline without ever having to leave the building.

Additionally, it serves as a marketing showcase for the Emirates, attracting tourists, wealthy buyers, and worldwide curiosity. However, initiatives like this also bring up issues of access, sustainability, and future financial and spatial distribution by cities. Which can be essential because they relate impressive architecture to everyday life, basic needs, and the type of urban environment that the world wants to see in the future.

A giant tower in Business Bay

The Tiger Sky Tower will be in Business Bay, a modern area full of offices, hotels and luxury buildings in Dubai. It will have about 122 floors, 849 apartments (from one to four rooms), 18 penthouses and a Royal Sky Penthouse more than 400 meters above the city.

Tiger Properties developer defines the project as a “122-story masterpiece with world-class services and a design that combines comfort and elegance.” In other words, it will be a place to live, but also a symbol of the high-level lifestyle of the United Arab Emirates.

In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, the tower’s location provides residents with easy access to major highways, retail districts, and corporate hubs. The combination of futuristic design, convenience, and status is very attractive to many buyers because it elevates a basic apartment into a statement about lifestyle.

Records, extreme views and a jungle in the sky

What makes Tiger Sky Tower unique is not only its height, but its spaces designed to set new standards:

  • The world’s highest restaurant, is just above it, with panoramic views of Dubai.
  • An artificial tropical rainforest about 447 meters above the ground, with exotic trees, water, birds and even a small roller coaster inside.

This jungles in the heights want to make people feel like of their inside a real jungle, but floating above the city. Is a mix of technology, nature and a show inside a single residential skyscraper.

Living in the Tiger Sky Tower

For those who will live there, they are not only going to have un apartment; they will have access to a luxury lifestyle every single day. The tower will have jacuzzis, outdoor pools, terraces with views, barbecue areas, basketball and tennis courts, running track, children’s play areas, full spa and a state-of-the-art gym.

Tiger Properties assures that Tiger Sky Tower will raise the standard of luxury architecture in the United Arab Emirates, putting together comfort and experiences that are only seeng in five stars resorts.

According to the real estate agency Dubai Immo, prices start at around $600,000 for the smallest apartments and can go up to about 13.7 million dollars for the most exclusive penthouses. It is not a building that will be accesible for everybody, exclusivity is included in the prices. Is a project for people who are looking extreme luxury and unique landscapes (and that comes at a price).

The construction has already started and it is supposed to be deliver for the second half of 2029. With Tiger Sky Tower, Dubai shows once more that they like to push the limits by building taller, more striking and more spectacular structures.
